Keeping Salisbury Healthy Since 1952.
Established in 1952 by Dr Scott and Dr Palmer, Salisbury Medical Centre provides general medical services for patients throughout Salisbury, including travel vaccinations. Having provided trusted healthcare to our patients for more than 70 years, we’re committed to upholding our high standards at all times and guaranteeing the best quality services.
Whether you’re new to the practice or a returning patient, we’ll always give you a warm welcome and ensure that you receive attentive service.
At Salisbury Medical Centre, we believe the success of our practice comes from the genuine and compassionate care we give our patients and we’re dedicated to ongoing professional development to ensure high-quality service.
We have many Independent GPs and practice nurses who are highly experienced, and have expertise in a wide range of areas, all of whom regularly update their skills and knowledge.
Our practice is accredited every 3 years with quality improvement accreditation, which is provided by the RACGP. This highlights our commitment to delivering the highest standard of general practice to the local community.
Salisbury Medical Centre caters for the entire community, including families and businesses, and is in a complex with a pharmacy, physio, and blood collection centre for your added convenience. We also bulk-bill pensioners, Veterans, healthcare card holders and children under 16.
We are also an Allied Health Provider which offers health professionals who can help you manage your condition, such as podiatrists, dieticians, exercise physiologists and physiotherapists.
Salisbury Medical Centre can provide access to all the above on-site, which makes everything much more convenient for all our patients.
★★★★★
I have only been to this practice one time (today). Was very happy with the service! The reception staff were all friendly. I waited only ten minutes to see Dr Sawyer. He was thorough, understanding, and willing to explain things in detail. Pathology, among other services (i.e. physio), is in close vicinity to the practice. I appreciated this service and would recommend it to others.

The receptionist staff are always SO helpful, and it’s always a very busy practice. Doctors have always been very good.
Much appreciated when I am organizing appointments etc for hearing-impaired sister.

Friendly staff and considerate doctors. Have attended twice for appointments that were about 1 or 2 mins and was not charged the full consultation fee. Recently moved to the area so I am happy I have found a new local clinic I can trust
